The Institute of General Practice is committed to undergraduate and postgraduate medical education and to advancing research in primary care.

Our research focuses on integrating medical, psychological, and sociocultural aspects of illness and prevention in primary care. At the heart of our work are the doctor-patient relationship and its continuity, with an emphasis on patient-centered care and the implementation of clinical evidence. Through these efforts, we contribute to improving primary health care at the regional, national, and international levels.
